At the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA) Green Returns Summit 2025, Akshay Panth, CIO of Neev Funds joined a highimpact panel on “Blended Finance and More: Mixing Capital Pools to Drive the Decarbonization Journey.”

Akshay highlighted how the approach to integrate blended finance needs to be more nuanced and based on sectoral requirements rather than a blanket approach.

He underscored the role of blended finance as a powerful enabler, bringing together concessional, development and commercial capital to unlock climate projects that may not otherwise be viable

India Conference at Harvard

Akshay Panth CIO, Neev Funds, participated in the insightful discussions on the panel “From Promise to Action: Climate Financing in India” conducted at the India Conference at Harvard. Steering the conversation towards India’s transition to a low-carbon economy, moderated by Ms. Swati Shah Gupta and including Ms. Ruchira Shukla, Head for South Asia, Disruptive Technologies—Direct Equity and VC Funds at IFC, the panel emphasized policies to encourage business investment using different strategies to balance climate adaptation and mitigation.

Anjana Seshadri, Vice President at Neev Funds, was a panelist on the “Workshop on Climate Technologies” at Sustainable Finance Working Group (3rd edition) G20 India held at Mahabalipuram,Tamilnadu,India.

The G20 India delegates shared their insights on policy measures and innovative financial instruments that catalyse the rapid development and deployment of green and low-carbon technologies. Reaffirming a climate solution mindset among all stakeholders, the group deliberated on unique techniques to scale up capital for early-stage climate technology.

Neev fund was the Chief Patron to Prabhav 2022, a flagship event of the Impact Investors Council that saw attendance from 730 attendees from 15 countries and raised important dialogues on impact investing and climate finance.

The event saw several global development financial institutions participating. SVL was part of eminent keynotes and plenary sessions. The event helped create awareness on the need and requirement of development capital and helped position FCDO and Neev among the leading impact investors in India.
